I have been a deviant member for years. Some of you might have seen my work from years ago. I have been a photographer since I returned from the Marines in late 2004. I struggled for a few years, and wasted away a few more. During that time, I was able to stay in college, and graduated with a good GPA as a visual arts major. |
I have also struggled to find my style; however, about a year ago I decided to cut back on editing my work. I like the raw visual impact of a photo. If it does not have that to begin with, then I could care less. Unfortunately,, to pay the bills I have had to take on a lot of family and wedding clients. Don't get me wrong, I am appreciative, but it is literally sucking the life out of me. I need to be creative, but this economy is hard for artists that are just starting out, and with no financial resources, it is even harder.
I am going to keep battling it out though. Stay strong to all of the artists that are struggling now, have been, or will be. Without an artistic vision our society is nothing more than a zombie workforce to benefit the puppet masters.
